ankle pain

by: Jeff J on Wed, Apr 16 2008

Hi, ex-marine who just started back runnin. After 6 weeks began to run harder and began to have pain in the ankle. No twist anything. Small swelling on outer and inner ankle, with most pain at inner rear of ankle. Tylenol does wonder and I can run, but when I’m finished the pain is bad again. I can walk, with small limp, It feels like when I had shin splints but in the ankle. I’ve taken this week off from running, but I’m anxious to get bake at it. (pain for maybe 3 weeks) I need some advice or remedies…Thanks!
