Nearly two years ago I fell in a parking lot on ice. The pain in my ankle was so severe and the immediate swelling led me to assume I had a fracture. Well it was not, but since that incident I can sneeze the wrong way and something snaps in both sides of my left ankle causing severe pain and swelling. This last time it happened I was barely able to bear weight but my life is so busy that I worked through the pain and it is finally starting to ease up now. Is this something I will have to live with the rest of my life. I have been told it sometimes takes a long time for a sprain to heal but this is crazy. I can’t do anything without this getting irritated.
