To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Flip Flops For 21 years I never wore open toe shoes, or flip flop sandals. I was always a fan but never wore them. Well July 2, 2007, I did. I had my surgery in Sep 2006 and after a LONG healing process I finally got to wear flip flops. Whlie shoe shopping with friend I would lie and say I didn’t like filp flops or open toes “they didn’t suit me”, knowing that deep down I was longing to grab a pair and be free. I have a MEAN shoe fetish, and a severe passion for clothes. So to limit my footwear also ment limiting the style of dress. So the first time I wore my sandals was at my little cousins birthday party. My family was surprised they knew I had the surgery but were so surprised with the results. My aunt said to me “cute toes”. They all knew of the suffering I had dealing with this condition. So I decided to venture a little further. That evening my other cousins were going out to a night club. Prior to the surgery I bought so Coach wedge heel flip flop sandals, at the night club I took them out for their first spin. Some guy offered to kiss my toes (LOL) I declined but I was tickled pink. I AM GETTING FOOT COMPLIMENTS! No one would have offered to kiss my “before” toes (in my opinion) except my husband and he had never seen them prior to surgery. I wouldn’t let him. Socks were my best friend. Now we can go and have my dream vacation and go bare foot on the beach! WOW I have come a long way BABY! Comments
