Hi i am an Asian female, 31 from London,i never ntoiced anything when i was younger but noticed in my teens that my forth left toe was raised and looked deformed.I have been going crazy looking for info about my Deformed left forth toe for years, nobody in my family has this. I finally found the courage to see a foot specialist a few months ago, he wasnt very sensitive to my needs and was told i was born with a short toe, he also said it was quite common and didnt ave a name?? Mentaly this Brachy has casued me alot of Psychological stress as any sufferes will now. In uk there isnt much info or anyting you can do. But the foot doctor advised me to use 3 point toe straps which strap round ur short toe and toe its next to. To be honest, this has helped balance my foot when walking and has also straightened it a little as sufferes know it tends to lift up , stick up, rub against ur shoe and cause pain. The straps also make the appearance a liitle better aswell.
