Surgery by ex-fix

Hi,
At 49 years old, I had surgery last June to correct brachymetatarsia on my right foot, the 4th toe. At about 11 years old, I jammed my toe on a iron staircase that killed my growth plate. I went to Mt Sinai in Baltimore last summer and have been very pleased with the results. Dr Lamm performed the procedure, with an external fixator. I was weight bearing within one or two days and back at work within one week. It wasn’t totally pain free, but it was bearable. And I am so glad I had the surgery. No more foot pain from walking barefoot on hard surfaces. I’ll be glad to answer any questions.
