To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Charcot Foot My husband went to the family physician and the emergency room and was treated for almost three weeks for gout in his foot. After the family doctor wanting to prescribe another round of drugs and pain killers we went to see the ortho surgeon One look and an x-ray and he said he has charcot foot but if my husband worked with him he would not have to amputate. So he is now in a cast for three weeks and has been given steroid and anti inflamatory shots. He is feeling better and the pain is going away. God willing this will work. Just proved go to the specialist first, we wasted value time as my husband is also diabetic. Comments
