To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Diabetic Charcot Foot I was recently diagnosed with Diabetic Charcot Foot June 2009 in my right foot. My family nor I had ever heard of this condition. I am very worried but hopeful as well. I saw 4 doctors and 3 diagnosed me with acute (mild) diabetic Charcot. I was in a Cam boot for 6 weeks, then an ankle support strap. I felt much better and returned to wearing regular shoes. August 2009 I was diagnosed with same, Diabetic Charcot Foot in the left foot. Wore Cam Boot and ace bandage on left foot and now feeling better. I was fitted for special orthodics and today I began wearing them. I am 46 years old with 3 children and a wonderful husband and family. Very worried about what tomorrow will bring. When I feel the pain, it is terrible, but as soon as I feel better, I pray that the 3 doctors gave me a wrong diagnosis. Hopeful, I guess. Look forward to tomorrow. Comments
