elective surgery

My little baby was only 6.. we found out he had diabetes 6 months before his death. We did everything, changed diets and made sure he was given his insuline 2x/day. I was told cataracts were a symptom of diabetes and would happen almost overnight, and they did literally. I took him to an eye surgeon she said he was a perfect candidate for lens implants. Of course I didn’t hesitateI would do anything to save and help him so we scheduled the surgery. 7 days before surgery blood work was done and everything came back fine.
on 7/7/08 I dropped him off for his eye surgery and that was the last time i saw him alive. the Dr. called me to tell me that he didn’t so well with the surgery that everything was picture perfect, both eyes got the lens implants but when they were done and bringing him off everything he went into arrest.
and they could not revive him. I never thought his eye surgery would kill him. I miss him so much.
