To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download MY LIFE WITH FIBROMYALGIA THE INVISIBLE ILLNESS Hello, As time goes on I feel the medical society has finally recognized Fibromyalgia pain is real. Praise God. I have had FM, for over 60 years. Back when I started having painful, aching legs, I was told it was “growing pains”. Mother took me to many doctors’ during the years. At fourteen I began having migraine headaches, along with daily headaches. At 23, I began having irratable bowel syndrome. Over the years, I married, raised five sons’, all the while coping with pain everyday. I’m now a grandmother of eight. I never let FM, get the better of me, as i didn’t know I wasn’t normal. I guess I though that everyone hurt. I was diagnosed in 1989, finally there was a reason for my pain. I have any symptoms of FM. Sleep apnea, depression, allergies, sensitivities to being touched, & many others. I would like to say, thru prayers, I feel researchers, and the medical profession, are working very hard to find help for all of us. Blessings, Bonnie (72 yrs.) Comments
