Severe Foot Pain

I have had 4 surgeries on my feet as a child…for bunions, and complications from that surgery.

Now, 25 years later, I am having severe foot pain, swelling, tingling, burning and numbness in my right foot. I have just been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes as well. I cannot stand on my foot, and have been walking with a cane for almost 4 months, unable to work.

Don’t know what is wrong, and am on heavy pain killers, with no relief yet.

I have to go see yet another specialist this week, and hope that there is something that can be done. Anybody out there have similar problem?
