To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Heel pain After finally getting rid of the fasciitis, I developed heel pain that would not go away. It’s been bothersome for over 6 months now. Went to a DPM and got orthotics and had my foot wrapped with a raised insert as well as a boot to wear while sleeping. Exercises were suggested and I did these faithfully. Still no help. My DPM recommended physical therapy and I tried that for a month which included deep tissue massage (one of the most painful moments of my life) and a PT who dealt with exercises. This has not worked either. Our next move, it would seem, is MRI If that shows nothing, then probably a recommendation for the sound wave procedure will be next. Has anyone had experience with this procedure and had any success or failure? I will not have surgery. From what I have read, the percentage of good results from that procedure are low. Comments
