Ouch for too long

After dealing with planter fasciitis, on and off for 17 years, I’m ready to take the plunge. I have a heel spur as a result and now tarsal tunnel as well. I have tried all of the conventional methods, casting, the boot, the night splint, the shots and orthothics, which I couldn’t live without.

I have 4 kids and volunteer at the school and take my kids to their activities. I don’t have time for the “stay off your foot for a few days” treatment and frankly I’m tired of barely making it through the grocery store before the pain is unbearable.

So, I’m headed in to surgery to get all three things fixed at once. I figure at this point that if it doesn’t work, how much more painful can it get? I already live with it everyday. Wish me luck!
