Serious lack of good judgement on my part but, boy it was fun while it lasted. After the cast came off I was told it would be about 6 weeks to regain the strength in my foot and ankle. Ok, I could handle that. A regular gym goer I went even with the cast and did what I could. I kept experiencing pain in the top of my foot and went the the orthopedic for more x-rays thinking I damaged it by working out and trying to run on the treadmill again. He said it was fine and just to give it time. Yesterday I went to my podiatrist I’ve used for years and was diagnosed with a neuroma He gave me an injestion and it feels much better, not totally 100% but close. I’ll go back in two weeks for another injection. I don’t think it was caused by poor fitting shoes as I usually wear sneakers and flip-flops being in Texas it’s too hot for any thing else. So it’s probably due to the fall in February on the court floorsince it was hurting even when the cast was on. Comments
