A few months ago I saw a pod. about these pains in both my feet. He immediately recognised and diagnosed them as Mortons Neuroma He recommended custom made orthotics which I got and now wear constantly.

- 1 1/2 years with mystery pain - by EH - (Mon, Aug 04 2008)
I woke up one morning about 1 1/2 years ago with a toe so swollen that I couln’t bend or move it. When I walk on that foot, it feels like it’s broken. A couple months later, I broke down and got x-rays..followed by about 4 more sets of x-rays. All showed no fractures.

I had a Mortons Neuroma removed Sept. 07… Right away, (post-op) I had a this pain on the sole of my foot. Now my POD told me the pain is a classic sign of a STUMP Neuroma and only surgery will take care of it.
