To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Neuroma foot First broke my foot 5th bone. After 7 months it didn’t heal so it was pinned. Had horrible pain and referred to a pain clinic. I was told I had RSD After over a year at the pain clinic I dignosed myself via the internet with nerve entrapment. Demanded tests and yes thats what I had. The EMG said I had planter nerve issues but when they got in there the sural nerve was so bad had to be removed and they were successful in cleaning up the planter nerve. After that surgery still had pain. The surgeon thought I had a neuroma in not the normal place. He told me to get a second opinion. Actually got into the mayo clinic and had MRIs, EMGs and they told me there is something wrong with a nerve but no surgery to correct it. Then went to a top podiatrist jumped through all his hoops-PT and orthotics Then he wanted to refer me to a pain clinic which I never went. back to the original surgeon nows its been 2 years. I asked for a new MRI and bam a huge neruoma 5mm by 10mm in the place that always hurt. He went in took it out and I felt better. Now its getting worse. The electrical tingling that never left is worse and the pain is still there. I have an appointment next week for a surgery follow up. I bet the cut off part grew another neuroma??? Comments
