My planters wart first started off as a little dot in my foot. It actually looked like a dark hole. But I share the same story as the person before me. I waited too long. Not to mention between the time I got it and the time (today) which I had them lazered off…I was in a marching band show, a dance recital, and went and walked the streets of NYC. Wow, can you say painful.

I went to the doctor in October and he gave me medicine..then I stopped going for a while, because it isn’t cheap…finally I went back in March and my wart was bigger and painful and on the ball of my foot. He kept me on a roll on medicine and then added a creme. He also had me on the Dr. Shulz (sp) pads and duct tape. Finally I said forget it. I am going to college in a few months and I wanted to be able to run and exercise…which the wart limited me from. So I just got it taken off today. They knocked me out and I woke up to it being done. I guess I am a little frightened about it’s return, but I am praying it doesn’t. I agree, do not, DO NOT wait to have these little devils taken care of. Trust me.

I began with 2 plantar warts about a year ago. The podiatrist wanted to burn them off, but I would be off of my feet for 2 weeks. I told him I wanted to try the Dr. Scholl’s stickers first. The stickers only made it worse. [more..]
