To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My nasty plantar wart I felt a little spot of pain in the bottom of my heel. Then in looking at the source, it appeared to be a tiny purple blotch i could see through layers of my skin. It was as if i was looking through thick glass to see the spot. So, me being the person i am who likes to get results fast, i poked the spot with a needle and dug into my foot with finger nail clippers to find out more or to get the “sliver” object out of my foot and relieve the pain. As soon as i hit the blotch it bled, A LOT. I bandaged it up and goped that it was just a blood blister that would go away. It wasn’t. Day by day it hurt worse and became more evident that i had a wart on my foot. You could see it from over in what looked like chunks of skin stacked together, like a pile of cottage cheese (minus the white color and cheese part). Maybe a bettr description would be, it looked like tiny square blocks had been unevenly stacked in the hole in my foot. I went to the doctor about it because I wasn’t sure what it was, being I had only had one wart in my entire life and it was on my finger but now gone. My doctor said it was probably a plantar wart but because i had picked at it so much, he couldn’t clearly see through the scab. So they x-rayed it to make sure nothing was lodged. He told me to wait a few weeks to let it grow to it’s normal shape and they would zap it for me. But when i went back I saw a different doctor and he said i shouldn’t get it zapped because there is a large chance it will come back. He perscibed Dr. Scholls sascilic acid wart pads, you can buy them at any local “walmart” or place that has bandaids. They come in a box. You saok your foot(wart) for about 5 minutes and then put the little acid pad on the wart and the wart cushion that holds the pad in place and chushions your wartover top. But doctor also said i need to pare the wart or shave off the calus around or on it every 2-3 days. He said it will take work and may take half a liftime to make it go away but tha eventually by keeping the wart out and vulnurable my immune system would eventually do it’s own zapping of my wart and kill it off.
