kidney infections

I have had years of water/kidney infections, been on antibiotics.This year i have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis Having read all about this auto immune disease, and talked to rheumatoligist,it might well be the cause of the problems i have had for such a long time with my water works, as the bodys immune system turns against itself, and can attack vital organs.My doctor has just refered my to see a urololgist, to see what the problem is. I have had many test with high levels of protein in my water, and blood, so i await the outcome and see if this is caused by the immune system, no doctor can tell me the answer yet, i have even thought about if it could be lupus as it does take years to diagnose. Any one with the same complaints, i will keep you posted.
