living with rsd

I have been living with rsd since 1995 when i had both my feet operated on for biladrial nuromas [bilateral neuromas] as soon as i woke up from the surgury i notised that my feet were cold that was very unusual for me. Then the pain started. I have been to every specialest that i or my dr could think of tryed every thing known to do in the med field with no relife. The best that i have ever experinced is pain meds that make the pain bareabel but they all seem to quit working after a while.
Finaily i started taking oxyconten and have been on it for last 5 years. Take 20 mil in morn and 10 at noon and 20 at bed time. That gets me through the day. I work 4 hours a day now sitting down this seems to let me survive. I dont have much of a life but i can make it with out thinking about ending it. I here a lot of reports of abuse when it comes to oxyconten but if you take it the way your sopose to it helps better than any thing i have tryed and its effectivness seems to stay.
I have just had to learn its not getting any better and live with it. Pick your battles and pay the consiquinces. When you have to be on my feet and learn not even your spouse will understand what your gong through. To them after time gose bye you are just lazey and fakeing it. You just have to do what you have to do to survive. Not a pretty picture but who said life is fair. Seven more years and i can retiere and realy become a veg.
