To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download LIVING WITH RSD/CRPS Of all days on April 1,2008,I slipped and fell.I was working at a nursing home as a housekeeper.I went into a residents room to clean it.I walked across the room to start cleaning.Next thing I know I am on the floor. The A.C. unit had been leaking water into the rooms floor.Well long stroy short,6 or so dr.s,2 O.T.,and over a year later I was told you have RSD/CPRS and there is nothing else we can do. The home is self-unsured,thier ins.company is closing my case and has offered me $10,000 and that all to take care of all of future meds.,medical, and lost wages. That does not seem fair at all.I have been having a lot of the same symptoms in my left leg.I also have trouble with migraines now due stress from RSD/CRPS or because of the RDS/CRPS spread to my neck/head.This RSD/CRPS has caused a lot of stress with in my live. Most days I struggle,I don’t want to get out of bed,I just want to stay there and be by myself. The home is self-insured and their dr.s said there is nothing else the can do for me.I feel like I am S.O.L.It’s very hard to find a job/hold one due to all of this.Is there any light at the end of this long dark tunnel????? PLEASE send some light my way,if you can!!! (: !!!! (: Comments
