At first I didn’t know what the problem was and I was able to deal with the pain. During the day it bothered me a little bit but by the time I got home I was able to change into gym shoes or nothing and they no longer hurt. Sometime in June 2007 during some weight lifting(calf raises) both feet were injured to the point where it was difficult to sleep. Since June 2007 I have tried many different remedies to try and cure my injury. Most stories I have read about tts surgery have been negative but I really don’t know what to do? My life used to be extremely active and anyone who deals with this knows that you spend most of your time sitting or looking around for the closest place to sit. I haven’t been able to wear a shoe now for over a year and when I’m out and about croc’s seem to be the most comfortable to wear for that short period of time. Unfortunately, I have given up and have surgery planned Oct 30, 2008. I’m very concerned about the surgery and possibly making it worse and ruining my life. Thanks for the time you spent reading this and if you are dealing with or have dealt with the same injury before I would love to discuss this with you. Comments
