To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download I screwed up in FEB 2008 I had my first Gout atttack by overloading on Purines as a result of sustained Atkins Dieting for a few weeks and then having an excessive protein and alcohol dinner out with friends. I had been subsequently diagnosed as dangerously close to becoming Diabetic(type2) and was 260 lbs, So my dtermination was lose weight. The Diet and exercise regime I chose intially fow weight loss VIA Atkins and then with a more sensible diet had the desired effect and I am around 220 lbs and all my bad signs have improved dramatically IE 158 blood is now 90, BP is 120 of 80 ( versus a much higher reading on both ) and everything is great BUT FOR ONE THING . I believe I now have Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome and am seeking medicial treatment.I pounded the treadmil every day and ate sensibly BUT I did so wearing Topsiders which have a flat instep. I have a particulary high arch and I literally pounded my feet into a very painful state( hopefully not irreversible) in the attempt to get well.. This new pain was/is present chronically and actually was less obvious during exercise ( but in fact the exercise /jogging was exacerbating the situation.)ANYWAY I have improved dramatically in many ways but in doing so caused another condition(TTS) and it isnt nice .SO Beware that one /therapy doesnt have an opposite effect on other body parts Comments
