29 years of Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome?

First experienced problems with my (flat) feet when starting work at age 16. Pain in heels and burning sensation on soles of feet was the daily routine - not good when standing all day!
First visit to family GP at age 17 resulted in ‘plantar fasciitis’ prognosis and since then have visited a variety of doctors, specialists and quacks over the years, most with their own unique response. Tried insoles and bespoke orthotics and in desparation special diets and hypnotism. Predictably none of which helped.
I have just learnt about Tarsal Tunnel syndrome and am exited to finally (possibly?) understand the problem, having always been convinced that something else was going on that the doctors did not look for / know about.
